Bolton Hockey Club is a Men’s and Ladies Field Hockey Club based in Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom. We have over 180 members, of which approximately 140 are playing members, these include players from the 6 Men’s, 4 Ladies, Youth Teams; which include U18-U15-U13-U11, 1 mixed, 1 Veterans teams.

The club is growing from strength to strength with every season and now with the new pitch project firmly in the pipeline it is a very exciting time to join the club, so please take a look through the website and hopefully you will find some useful information and if you don't you could always e-mail us to find out more or even have some of your questions answered by one of the committee members.

 

Clubs 1st

Bolton Hockey Club was the 2nd Club in Greater Manchester to be awarded the Clubs 1st and Clubmark Awards. Clubs 1st is England Hockeys' kitemarking scheme which is backed by The Sport England Clubmark award. This award is only given to Clubs who demonstrate its commitment to being a safe, effective and child friendly environment and building a portfolio of documentation which is implemented to the highest standards for the benefit of its members and the community as a whole. We are very proud of the award and hope to encourage more participation of hockey throughout the community with our youth development programme.
